LAS VEGAS (November 29, 2016) –Golden Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:GDEN), the largest tavern operator in Nevada, is taking part in philanthropic efforts over the holidays.
Through Dec. 6, the company’s PT’s Entertainment Group is supporting the 98.5 KLUC-FM Toy Drive. Guests are asked to drop off bikes and unwrapped toys at any PT’s, Sean Patrick’s, Sierra Gold or SG Bar location. Monetary donations are also accepted.
The collected toys and bikes will then be transported to the grounds of NV Energy’s offices, where KLUC-FM personality Chet Buchanan is overseeing the 18th annual toy drive while perched atop a billboard for 12 days.
“We believe it’s important to be involved in our community year-round, but especially during the holiday season,” said Brent Edlund, director of tavern operations. “We encourage all our guests to participate in our holiday community outreach.”
Also, PTEG and Uber launched its second annual holiday season safe driving campaign called “Ride Safe,” which encourages guests not to drink and drive. The companies will each donate $1 for every ride taken on Uber from one of the company’s 50 Southern Nevada taverns to the Friends of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation.
