LAS VEGAS (December 8, 2016) – PT’s Entertainment Group (PTEG), a division of Golden Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:GDEN) and the largest traditional tavern gaming operator in Nevada, has remodeled and rebranded one of its older locations from PT’s Pub into PT’s Gold.
The tavern at 4424 West Spring Mountain Road near the Chinatown district, is a popular location for the Las Vegas Strip casino service industry. The tavern was closed for more than a week during the transition.
To welcome back guests, PT’s Gold is running an extended service industry happy hour throughout the month from midnight Sunday nights to 8 a.m. Monday mornings for swing shift and graveyard shift service industry workers. There will be 50 percent off all drinks and pizzas, and $5 off select appetizers during the promotion.
“Our Spring Mountain Road PT’s Pub has historically been a popular after-work spot for members of the casino service industry,” said Blake L. Sartini II, senior vice president of distributed gaming for Golden Entertainment. “Transforming the tavern into a PT’s Gold we will now proudly offer our long-time service industry guests increased menu options, newer amenities and a freshly remodeled facility.”
PT’s Gold offers an expanded menu, including a variety of appetizers, pizzas, and lunch and dinner options. In December, daily specials include a salad combo with a creamy crab bisque soup, a ‘Christmas’ burrito, cheesy steak tots and a Sriracha chicken sandwich.
To transition the 7,700-square-foot building into a PT’s Gold, new décor was added, such as tile flooring and new interior artwork. The dining area was reconfigured to allow for 70 additional seats and all-new furniture was added. Upon reopening, the PT’s Gold will have 25 high-definition televisions with 65-inch screens and a new sound system.
The tavern’s 15 gaming devices were upgraded and six all-new pool tables with custom light fixtures were added. The building’s exterior received new paint, signage, and a landscaping upgrade.
PTEG operates 50 taverns in Southern Nevada through its various brands – PT’s Pub, PT’s Gold, PT’s Ranch, PT’s Brewing Co., Sean Patrick’s, Sierra Gold and SG Bar. PTEG owns two taverns in Reno. The Company’s 51st tavern in Southern Nevada, PT’s Gold at Lake Mead Drive and U.S. 95, is scheduled to open later this month.
