PT’s Taverns will Invite Fans to Celebrate with Legendary VGK Star Jonathan Marchessault on Wednesday, Aug. 28
August 26, 2024
LAS VEGAS – August 26, 2024 – PT’s Taverns, the best place for locals to watch the Vegas Golden Knights off the Strip, will invite fans to say thank you to beloved forward Jonathan Marchessault at a Vegas-style send off and celebration at PT’s flagship Sierra Gold, located at 6515 S. Jones Blvd., on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Pre-purchased tickets for Marchessault’s one-hour personal meet-and-greet are sold out, but guests will not need a ticket to get into Sierra Gold’s main celebration event on Wednesday where the VGK legend may even hop behind the bar to serve a few beers to lucky fans in the main bar area.
Guests can enjoy the celebration with Sierra Gold’s signature cocktails, extensive beer selection and menu of classic eats, including snack-size bone-in wings, priced at $14; PT’s Pub Classic Burger, made with two quarter-pound patties, PT’s signature burger sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle and red onion on a brioche bun, priced at $13; and The Gilroy Pizza, made with garlic ranch sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, tomato and red onion, priced at $20.
One of the “original misfits,” Marchessault was selected by VGK in the 2017 expansion draft. He quickly established himself as an elite forward and a fan favorite by scoring 75 points in his first season with the team and led them in postseason scoring with an additional 21 points in the playoffs, as the inaugural team reached the Stanley Cup Finals. Marchessault continued his dominance, scoring more than 20 goals in six of his seven seasons with VGK. Notably, Marchessault helped to lead the team to a Stanley Cup championship in 2022-2023 and was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the post season’s most valuable player. Marchessault was one of six original members to still be with the team for their first Stanley Cup. He is one of only 10 undrafted players to win the Conn Smith Trophy since the league’s merger with the World Hockey Association. Marchessault’s electrifying and game-changing presence will surely be missed by the Golden Knights organization and faithful fanbase.
