December 13, 2016

LAS VEGAS (December 13, 2016) – PT’s Entertainment Group (PTEG), a division of Golden Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:GDEN) and the largest traditional tavern gaming operator in Nevada has opened a new PT’s Gold in northwest Las Vegas, the company’s 53rd tavern in Nevada. Formerly known as Beano’s, the location at 7200 West Lake Mead Boulevard near U.S. 95, can operate up to 35 video gaming devices. Typical tavern locations are allowed up to 15 games. Golden Entertainment Vice President of Gaming Development Jay Fennel said the 6,000-square-foot building has 29 games, including 11 traditional casino video reel slot machines from IGT, Aristocrat Technologies and Konami Gaming. Game titles include Aristocrat Helix, Konami Selection, Aristocrat Buffalos and IGT Fort Knox. The opening of the PT’s Gold is the fifth new tavern Golden Entertainment has opened in Southern Nevada this year. Previously, the company opened PT’s Brewing Co. on North Tenaya Way, PT’s Gold on East Sunset Road in Henderson, PT’s Ranch on South Durango Drive and SG Bar on West Flamingo Road near Interstate 215. “The newest PT’s Gold, our fifth new tavern of 2016, is an outstanding location with excellent access from U.S. 95 and is situated on heavily traveled West Lake Mead Boulevard,” said Blake L. Sartini II, senior vice president of distributed gaming for Golden Entertainment. “Beano’s has always been a very popular tavern. We always believed this location would be a great opportunity for our brand. It gives us the ability to continue to offer our guests a unique experience with the addition casino style slot games.” Fifty-one of Golden Entertainment’s wholly-owned taverns are located in the Las Vegas Valley. “Further expansion signifies our belief in the strength of the recovering Southern Nevada tavern industry and adds to our strong market leading position and our brand recognition,” Sartini said. The renovation and rebranding of the Beano’s facility, which has been closed for more than six months, was one of the most extensive that has been undertaken by Golden Entertainment this year. The building was reconfigured to create an outdoor covered patio area with environmental comfort features (heating and air conditioning) that allow the patio to be used year-round. The interior includes an elevated booth dining area with custom upholstered seating and capacity for 45 guests. A table-top seating area can accommodate 18 guests. Designers created a separate 40-seat dining area that can be closed off for private functions. The bar includes 18 bar-top video games, including several with the “Super Star Poker” theme. Entertainment features include 24 high-definition, 55-inch and 65-inch televisions, including two on the outdoor patio. The tavern renovations included new lighting, an enhanced sound system, an upgraded kitchen, all-new bathrooms, and interior features, including stone walls and wood paneling. The parking lot was also renovated. The PT’s Gold menu features a wide selection of appetizers, pizzas, salads, sandwiches and entrees. The beverage selection includes featured beers produced by PT’s Brewing Co. PT’s Gold can be contacted at 702-840-3880. About Golden Entertainment, Inc.
