LAS VEGAS – June 10, 2020Under the direction of Jessica Kipi, general manager of Sean Patrick’s located at 3290 W. Ann Rd., team members of PT’s Taverns in Las Vegas raised $15,560 to provide 1,250 fellow PT’s team members with groceries.“With the closing of PT’s Taverns around Las Vegas came unemployment for many and struggling families as a result,” said Kipi. “After realizing I could not sustainably purchase groceries for my struggling team members, we decided to raise money and work with local food banks. We had about 20 volunteers join together three to four times a week to help make all of this possible. It was truly an unbelievable experience to be part of.”Over the course of nine weeks and during the tavern shutdown, food was donated to 1,250 individuals and 398 PT’s team members while they were not working due to the closures of restaurants and the stay at home orders. Kipi, who kickstarted the donations after seeing how her team had been affected financially, gathered fellow team members from all over Las Vegas, including other general and regional managers, to raise the funds. Every dollar donated was allocated to transporting food from local food banks and groceries.PT’s Taverns throughout Las Vegas allowed Kipi and team to store pantry items at the closed tavern locations when the quantities became too large for her to store at home.About PT’s Entertainment GroupPT’s Entertainment Group owns and operates a portfolio of 66 taverns, including: PT’s Pub, PT’s Gold, PT’s Ranch, PT’s Brewing Co., Sean Patrick’s, Sierra Gold and SG Bar.
