LAS VEGAS (Sept. 1, 2017) – PT’s Entertainment Group will translate craft beer sales into a fund-raising program to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey’s devastation in Texas.
From Sept. 1-10, Nevada largest traditional tavern operator will donate $1 from each purchase of a 16-ounce or 25-ounce PT’s Brewing Company craft beer toward the hurricane relief efforts.
In addition, Golden Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:GDEN) – the parent company of PT’s Entertainment Group – will donate 50 cents when anyone through social media “likes” a mention of the program through Twitter, Instragram or Facebook.
Golden Entertainment and PT’s Entertainment Group hope to raise a total of $10,000 through sales and company contributions to help victims of the storm. The funds raised will go to the Greater Houston Community Foundation. The organization is housing a hurricane relief fund established by Houston’s mayor for the victims of the natural disaster.
“It is incumbent on all of us to do whatever we can to help the victims of this horrible and tragic situation,” said Golden Entertainment Vice President of Human Resources Katherine Roden. “We hope this contribution from our guests and our company will help in the recovery efforts in Houston.”
PT’s Entertainment Group operates 54 traditional taverns in the Las Vegas Valley under the PT’s Pub, PT’s Gold, PT’s Ranch, Sean Patrick’s, Sierra Gold and SG Bar brands.
PT’s Brewing Company, located at 3101 North Tenaya Way, produces more than a dozen different beer varieties – seven standard beers and several rotating seasonal beers. The brewery provides its five most popular beers to all PT’s Entertainment Group locations.
All PT’s Entertainment Group locations are participating in the fund-raising efforts.
The PT’s Brewing Company beer selections are also available during PTEG’s award-winning happy hour, which takes place daily from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. During happy hour, all PTEG taverns offer 50 percent off drinks.
